We started February with a trip for Amy and baby Klase's baby shower. We didn't get very many pictures, but it was fun celebrating them and visiting family. We can't wait to meet you Klase!
The following week was Valentine's Day. Kaden and Katherine LOVED their new bikes!
And they loved celebrating with their friends at school as well.
Mama and Daddy even got to do a little celebrating of their own. We love the Wilks (and Capital Grille) !!!
Speaking of love...these two sure do love each other! Katherine was cold and Kaden was super sweet to snuggle with her to warm her up!
And then at the end of February, Grandma flew in so that Mama and Daddy could go to San Francisco with some friends. They were SO excited to see her!
And then it was time to go!
We started the trip with dinner with some friends of ours, Craig and Laurie Patzer, who used to live in Dallas. They treated us to a fabulous meal at A16. They recommended the Farmers' Market for breakfast the next morning and it was delicious!
We then met the Bucklands and the Mannings at Alcatraz.
We got in a bit of trouble.:)
We met Baker there, a man who had spent many years at Alcatraz. He is now an author and is leading a completely different life. We both thought it was a really neat story.
Then it was time to get ready for our night out at Scoma's!
The next morning, we walked around town (almost 15 miles!). One of our first stops was the Painted Ladies.
We also walked to the Golden Gate Bridge.
And we ended our last night there with a birthday celebration for Karson at Kokkari. Karson said it was the best food he'd ever had!
We returned from our trip just in time to celebrate our 4th anniversary of "meeting" our babies for the first time. We love this day- it always brings back sweet memories!
Happy LOVE month!
