Summer time!!!

We started the summer with a visit from Grandma! She had always wanted to attend the Van Cliburn piano competition, so it was really special to go with her. The pianists were amazing!
And then we had fun in the sun at the pool!

Some of our lifelong friends, Ed and Debbie Johnston, were in town visiting, so it was a special treat to have them drop by!
And then Mama and Daddy had a little staycation in Ft Worth and enjoyed the Van Cliburn finals...
We celebrated Brittany's 30th birthday with a girls night at Javier's and then a night at the Joule:)
We celebrated Father's Day with some new shoes for Daddy, ice cream by the fountains, and with a sweet video they made for their favorite Daddy.
Uncle Kyle visited for the weekend and we had SO much fun...
And when did this sweet boy get so big???

Dress up with friends is always a blast...
Gramps and Grammy came to visit and watch our last soccer game!

Shoe tying class at Nordstrom's...

Dallas World Aquarium with Bennett and Clara...

Some of our dearest friends, the Boswells, came in to town for a funeral. Time with them is always so precious!
VBS was a blast! Kaden adored Ryan and Caitlyn-they were such great leaders!

And the 4th of July Parade is always fun with friends!
My girls made me feel super special for my birthday, and Harvest is always super yummy!

Dinner at Babe's with some of my favorite girls from ACU...
A little face-painting at Super Hero Camp...
And then we headed to Cali to visit Grandma and Papa!
Building robots with Papa is always fun...
And so are snuggles with Grandma...

It was so special to visit Grandma Jo and give her some snuggles...

And horseback riding was their favorite thing!

And so was climbing the tree...
Back at home, we enjoyed seeing an eclipse, safely, of course.:)

Back porch chats and snuggles in the rain are the sweetest...

And Christmas in August couldn't have been more fun!

Enjoying the last few bits of Summer...and twinning with her bestie...

Ending the Summer with poolside Popsicles!!!
