HELP!

OK, now that I have your attention, I have a few questions for you.

1. Karson and I are looking for a used elliptical to purchase for those days where there is just not enough time for a gym trip. If you have one or if you know someone who has one, please let me know!

2. We are planning a Europe trip for next summer. Usually, when we plan a trip, I just bug all of my friends for their advice. Now that we have a blog, I thought this might be a little more efficient. :) We will be gone for about a month and would like to visit Great Britain, Ireland and maybe a few places in Northern or Eastern Europe. For those of you who have been, do you have any helpful tips or "must sees" to recommend? Also, would you recommend Prague or Amsterdam? I think we will have time for one of those, but not both, so I would love any suggestions.:) Thanks in advance!

  1. I haven't been to any of those places, so I have no advice, but I just wanted to say WOW! That sounds like an amazing trip! J has been to several of those, so I'll get him to give you his input.

  3. Yeah, so I definitely can't help you out on either of the two!
I remember making those tents too! And we would stay up and play Stretigo (I have no idea how it's spelled!) and eat! haha Those were the good ol days! :)
    Miss you and love you!

  4. Hey Sharon! Well I may be able to help with both...a little bit at least! My husband is a Department Head of Training at Life Time- I'll ask him about the elliptical. I know how great those are, and I'm sure he could find a used one or know where you could get one for a reasonable price.

Also, we went to Ireland last summer- and let me tell you... we'd go back in a heartbeat! It was the most peaceful, beautiful trip I've ever taken. The busy cities are amazing and the countryside is breath-taking. I'll bring some pics to school and show you when we go back.

  5. Talk to A-mac. I think she Amsterdam is one of her favorites, but her and Wes have pretty much been everywhere, since they lived there for 2 years.

  6. Wes and I were at the Sears outlet the other day and notcied that they had a lot of execise equipment. We are wanting a treadmill and are going to look there.
Europe for a month sounds like fun. We really have not spent a lot of time in the UK. We really did like Normandy. Amsterdam has some neat things like the Anne Frank house and Van Gogh museum. You could also rent bikes or take a canal boat ride. We did go to Scandanavia last year and decided to do a cruise to do it. We found that to be the easiest way to see all of those places up there. Please let us know if you have any questions about places or the legistics of trip planning over there.

  7. Hello -

I also wanted to recommend Prague. I have heard that Amsterdam is pretty racy, but have never been there. Prague is so beautiful and is relatively inexpensive. We are actually thinking of going to Prague next summer in celebration of our 10th anniversary. I hope you get to go!
