HaPpY HaLLoWEeN!!!

Halloween was so much fun this year. I knew it would be fun, because anything that we do as a family is special, but I honestly had no idea just HOW much fun it would be.  We started our Halloween festivities with a Little Gym party. You'd never know by looking at these pictures that sweet Pebbles accidentally locked Mama and Bam Bam out of the house and we had to call the fire department to help us get back in.:) Oh, I love that girl.:)

They had so much fun helping Daddy cut the pumpkins.  They weren't too sure about the slimy inside, but they were willing to at least explore a bit.:)

A spooky Halloween breakfast...
And then it was time to Trick-or-Treat! We have started a tradition of eating dinner at the Johnstons to kick off our Halloween, and it was great as always!

It took a little while for them to figure out what all this was about, but once they did, they LOVED it! Whenever we would get to a house, Kaden would say "Here you go" and give them his candy.  Katherine would just blow kisses, say "HI", and try to walk in their house.  It was pretty cute.:)

Towards the end, Katherine started getting pretty tired, but she would insist on resting her head on my shoulder in between houses and then she would perk right up as we got to the next door.  She's just like her mama, never wants to miss a thing! Love her!

Back at the house, they inspected all of their candy.  Kaden would have eaten the entire bucket if we let him. Sweet boy has a SWEET tooth!!!  Katherine, on the other hand, wanted absolutely nothing to do with the candy.  Love these two so much!!!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere !!!

Kaden and Katherine had lots of pumpkin fun this October!!! We started out at the Arboretum.  The pumpkin display at the Dallas Arboretum is absolutely gorgeous.

We also visited the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina...

They weren't too sure about feeding the animals....They would throw their food at them when they got too close...

But they LOVED riding the tractor...:)

And finally, we made a trip out to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch.  Matt took the kids on a wagon ride and they thought it was pretty cool.:)

We had so much fun with our pumpkins!!!

Homecoming

Ten years already? I honestly can't believe it!  We had so much fun going back to Abilene to see all of our friends and introducing Kaden and Katherine to where Daddy and Mama met and fell in love.:)
I had so much fun seeing some of my sweet friends at our GATA breakfast.

Then it was time for the parade.  Gramps and Granny drove in to spend time with the kids and they had fun, as always!

On Sunday, we were able to visit Westgate, where Karson and I went to church while we were in college.  We were able to spend some time with Eric and Sherry Gumm, who were the college ministers while we were there.  It was so special to spend time with John Paul, Lauren, and Emily Gumm now that they are so grown up!!! Karson and I had so much fun loving on them when they were babies and it was fun to see them love on our kiddos.:)
