I know that I always say this about every month, but March was such a fun month. Katherine and Kaden become more interactive daily and it is so fun to watch them grow! Here is a sweet picture I took of our little man. He LOVES books!
On the 11th, they turned 6 months old. Half a year? How did THAT happen?!!!
Katherine:
Weight: 10 lbs. 14 oz. (2% adjusted)
Height: 23 inches (6% adjusted)
Head: 16.5 inches (87% adjusted)
Kaden:
Weight:13 lbs. 15 oz. (22% adjusted )
Height: 25 inches (48%adjusted )
Head: 17.3 inches (98% adjusted)
We definitely have small children with large heads (for their big brains).;)
To celebrate his half-birthday, we bought Kaden a second helmet. Ha!:) He did so much better the second time around! He was so brave, even though he was definitely not a fan of having a stocking over his head. I wouldn't like having a stocking over my face either!:(
The following week was St. Paddy's Day. Grandma bought them these cute St. Patrick's Day sleepers to celebrate.;)
Cute little shamrock booties...;)
This picture makes me laugh every time I see it! Karson dressed Katherine while I was getting ready and the wrap around onesie proved to be a bit of a challenge.:)
A little later in March, my sweet Aunt Sue and my cousins Bailey and Sarah stopped by for some sweet snuggles.;)
On the 23rd, we celebrated the one year anniversary of when we found out we were expecting twins. Best BOGO ever, in my humble opinion.:) My sweet friend Michelle made Kaden and Katherine these adorable onesies.:)
At the end of March, their pulmonologost said that we could start taking them out some, as long as they wouldn't be directly interacting with others. We took the babies on a quick outing to the mall while my parents were here. They loved it!
On the 30th, they tried cereal for the first time. They loved it!
Since their pulmonologist said that they couldn't go to church until April 15th, we decided to go to the Arboretum for Easter Sunday.:)
Katherine enjoyed her Easter basket.:)
We decided to put all the bows from her Easter basket on her at once.;)
Kaden enjoyed his Easter basket as well.:)
Enjoying a few snuggles with Grandma in their Easter pajamas.;)
Precious Bunny Bottoms;)
Our Little "Bunnies"
And last, but not least, here are a few sweet pictures of my dad saying goodbye to Katherine before getting on the plane to go home. Goodbyes are always hard!
Love these two:)
Sweet Katherine,
We don't know how you manage to keep getting cuter, but you do!:) You are becoming very social. You like to be held, but you want to be facing out and sitting up so that you can see what is going on around you. You smile often and you have started laughing occasionally. In fact, your daddy was changing your diaper when you laughed a little for the first time. It was the sweetest thing! You have started to grasp for things and you are constantly using your hands more and more. You still dislike tummy time, but we still do it!:) Katherine, we pray that you always know how loved you are. There are so many people who love you and ask often about how you are doing. We pray that you never doubt what a blessing you are to so many and how much joy you have brought into our lives.
Love,
Mama and Daddy
Sweet Kaden,
We don't know how you manage to keep getting sweeter, but you do!:) You are SUCH a cuddler. If it were up to you, you would spend the whole day in mama's arms. We do put you down occasionally though, so you can show us all your new tricks!:) If we put you down on your back, you are very quick to roll onto your tummy. You especially love to sleep on your tummy. You can push up a little on your arms. You are getting so strong!:) You also starting laughing this month. Your first giggle was when you and Daddy were dancing around the living room. Sweet Kaden, you bring us so much joy. We pray that you always know how many people love you and ask often about how you are doing. We pray that you never doubt what a blessing you are to so many and how much joy you have brought into our lives. We just can't get enough of your snuggles!
Love,
Mama and Daddy
